Recroquevillé sur lui-même, ce personnage chimérique oscille entre la figure animale et la figure humaine. Influencée par l'art africain mais aussi par des artistes tels que Picasso et Gauguin, l'œuvre de Durrio évoque avec beaucoup de retenue les doutes et les questionnements de l'homme.

Crouching over onto its self, this imaginary character balances between animal and human form. Durrio's work was influenced by African art as well as by the work of such artists as Picasso and Gauguin and recalls, with much reserve, the doubts and questions of mankind.
