A PAIR OF GREEK GOLDEN BRACELETS, 3RD – 2ND CENTURY BC EIN PAAR GRIECHISCHE GOLDENE ARMBÄNDER
Origin: Ancient Greece.

A pair of golden dissolvable bracelets with portraits of Helios. Techniques of accomplishment: forging, chasing, soldering, weaving, granulation, filigree.
The artifact represents a pair of openwork, dissolvable bracelets with central part in form of discs, decorated with rosettes, in center of which relief portraits of god of sun – Helios, are located. Corrugated bracelet brackets are locked into a lock with a chain.
Pronounced Greek style of Hellenism epoch.
Sophisticated technique of accomplishment show high rank of the owner.
The artifact is an outstanding masterpiece of ancient jewelry art. It looks like all kinds of jewelry techniques are met in one artifact, which is an amazing, picturesque miniature.

Dimensions: 82 mm each. Weight accordingly 51,22 gr and 52,63 gr.

Notices: extremely rare artifact of top quality of accomplishment.

Provenance: Until 1986 in possession of Mr. Michael Fastenbauer. Until 1994 in collection of Mr. Jürgen Trögl, Vienna. From 1994 in collection of Mr. Ing Peter Till, Vienna.

Condition report: in very good condition, small scratches and dents.
