A pair of rare chairs with round ash wood legs. Seat and back upholstered with original, patinated natural leather. These examples made approx. 1936 by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. (2) The architects Hans Christian Hansen & Viggo S. Jørgensen designed some distinctly modernistic furniture pieces in the years 1935-1936, very much in the style of Finn Juhl. Shortly after, both architects abandoned furniture design and devoted them selves to solely designing buildings.The model was presented at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark, 1936.
