Condition:
The painting is in good restored condition, consistent with age. The paint surface shows slight overall craquelure, the subsequent applied varnish is somewhat discolored. The inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouching to the margins and the nymph. Overpaintings can be found on the upper margin and the 4 patched areas. The frame bears some small bumps and rubbings to the corners and edges. The image dimensions of 163.8 x 118.8 cm. The frame measures 181.5 x 137 cm.
