Featuring the Belgian Coat of Arms with a crown above king Leopold II of Belgium and slogan L'Union fait la force (= Unity makes strength), below the image, Belgian flags on the either side of the Cavalry, a lion on the flag and captions below Régiment des Chasseur à Cheval (=Mounted Grenadiers Regiment), Souvenir de mon temps de Service (= Remembrance of my service time).
