100. A fine German engraved armorial beaker, probably Zechlin, second half 18th century or first part of 19th century
Of generous tapering cylindrical form on a foot cut with hobnail facets, finely engraved with the crowned coat of arms of the State and Republic of Bern, a diagonal band charged with a bear on a hatched field flanked by martial trophies, with elaborate foliate scroll borders to the rim and lower part, 13cm high
