11. * RARE CHEVAL EN JADE CELADON PALE

A FINE PALE CELADON JADE FIGURE OF A ROLLING HORSE
Qianlong period
Exquisitely carved in the round with its body rolling onto the back, front legs tucked under and rear legs bent and facing upwards, the head turned backwards over its right front leg, the nose with slightly flared nostrils below finely drawn almond-shaped eyes, the finely incised mane cascading over the forehead and around pricked ears, cascading over the neck to the rounded back and spine, the incised long tail flicked over and under the rear legs, with legs and hooves well defined, the back with scattered russet patches, the stone an even slightly celadon tone, wood stand.
10.7cm (4 1/4in) wide. (2).
