16th century Italyn School. "Adoration of the Magi" Oil and embossing on panel. Illegible signature with the inscription "Nº 12". 57,5 x 43 cm. Through family tradition, the signature, which begins with the letter D, belongs to the painter Raffaellino dal Colle (1495-1566) who worked with Raphael in the Vatican and in Villa Farnesina. It comes with an imposing period, carved, painted and gilded frame depicting the Tetramorph in its corners, each with the saint´s name. There are two medallions at each side of the frame, one with the scene of the Annunciation and the other of the Flight to Egypt. There is profuse decoration of garlands, baskets of fruit and vases of flowers between each medallion.
