Au début des années 1960 la voiture est entreposée au sec dans une autre résidence familiale, à Vézelay, où elle reste jusqu'en 2004, quand le fils de la famille décide de la vendre. Elle est alors achetée et remise en route par un amateur hollandais, qui attachera une importance particulière à préserver son incroyable état d'origine. Seule la capote a été remplacée et, aujourd'hui, ce cabriolet Cadillac se présente remarquablement bien préservé. La carrosserie est sans défaut, la sellerie légèrement patinée est impeccable et les commandes sont complètes et intactes. Ce modèle présente en plus quelques particularités propres aux versions importées en France, comme des clignotants et des compteurs différents. En 65 ans elle n'a parcouru que 20 000 km... En 2009, elle a été invitée à participer au concours d'élégance du Royal Palace Het Loo en Hollande, pour le centenaire de la marque. In the early 1960s the car was stored in dry conditions, in another family residence in France, where the car remained till 2004, when the son of the family decided to sell it. It was then purchased and re-started by a Dutch enthusiast, who attached particular importance to preserving its incredibly original condition. Only the hood was replaced and today this Cadillac convertible comes in a remarkably well preserved state. The body is flawless, the upholstery with light patina is in impeccable condition and the instrument panel is complete and intact. This model features some specificities of the imported version in France, such as the indicators and various counters. In 65 years the car has covered only 20,000 km... In 2009, it was invited to participate in the Concours d'Elegance at the Royal Palace Het Loo in Holland, for the centenary of the brand.
