Comme le confirme le Jaguar Heritage Trust, il s'agit d'un rare "drophead coupe" en conduite à gauche. Dans cette configuration, elle bénéficie d'une carrosserie d'un grand chic, cabriolet trois positions. On peut ainsi choisir entre capote fermée, complètement ouverte, ou à moitié ouverte dans la position dite "Mylord". Avec son six cylindres de 3,5 litres d'origine, développant 125 ch et sa boîte de vitesse mécanique à 4 rapports, la voiture offre des performances parfaitement honorables, dans un confort digne des marques les plus prestigieuses. La voiture fut intégralement restaurée en 2009 par les réputés Etablissements Cecil Cars. Ainsi la carrosserie, la mécanique, le train arrière, le système de freinage ainsi que l'intérieur, les moquettes et les boiseries ont été intégralement revus. Afin de conserver l'âme de la voiture, les cuirs de la sellerie de couleur " Suede Green " qui arbore une incroyable patine ont pu être conservés. Le reportage photo présent au dossier ainsi qu'une expertise témoignent du travail réalisé. Acheté par son actuel propriétaire en 2016 toujours auprès de Cecil Cars, notre exemplaire a récemment bénéficié d'une inspection mécanique générale ainsi que de quatre pneus neufs. La production se limitera à 376 exemplaires en cabriolet conduite à gauche, faisant de ce modèle de prestige une automobile douce et raffinée mais aussi très exclusive. As attested by its Jaguar Heritage Trust, this is a rare left-hand drive "drophead coupe". In this configuration, it benefits from a very stylish three-position convertible body. You can choose between closed, fully open or half open in the so-called "Mylord" position. With its original 3.5 litre six-cylinder engine producing 125hp and its 4-speed manual gearbox, this car offers a very generous performance in a comfort worthy of the most prestigious brands. The car was fully restored by the renowned specialist Cecil Cars in 2009. The bodywork, mechanics, rear axle, braking system, as well as the interior, carpets and woodwork were completely revised. In order to keep the car's soul, the "Suede Green" leather upholstery with its incredible patina has been able to be preserved. Purchased by its current owner in 2016 with the same Cecil Cars, the car did recently get a general mechanical inspection and four new tyres. Production was limited to 376 left-hand drive convertibles, making this prestigious model not only a delicate and refined car, but also a very exclusive one too.
