1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I - No reserve - Titre de circulation US Dédouané dans l'UE Châssis n° LSHF211 - Conduite à gauche - Historique connu - Options intéressantes - Sans réserve Produite de 1955 à 1959, la Cloud I est la dernière Rolls-Royce produite équipée d'un moteur 6 cylindres. Elle est également la première à être équipée de freins à commande hydro-pneumatique à l'arrière et une boîte de vitesses automatique à 4 rapports. Cette Cloud de la vente est l'une des dernières construites en version à empattement normal. Elle est équipée de l'air conditionné, option d'époque, choisie par son premier propriétaire, un américain vivant en Californie. La voiture sera acquise par Mr. David Williams Stevens à Carmel en 1976 et il la conservera jusqu'en 1982. Mr. Daniel Ray Schack en fait l'acquisition en 1982 et il la gardera pendant 28 ans. Le dossier regorge de documentation diverse d'époque. Elle entre ensuite entre les mains d'un marchand hollandais auprès de qui son actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition. Exigeant, ce dernier lui a depuis fait bénéficier d'un polish mettant en avant son exceptionnelle peinture d'origine, avec filets or et remplacement de tous les joints. Les boiseries sont en très bel état. Quant aux cuirs, ils sont superbes dans leur teinte caramel ; ils sont d'origine également, si bien que la voiture offre un très bel aspect tant extérieur qu'intérieur. La voiture a aujourd'hui presque 55 000 miles et sa dernière révision a été faite il y a 550 km. Un essai en compagnie de son propriétaire a permis de constater son bon fonctionnement général et la douceur de marche caractéristique du modèle. Cette belle Cloud I n'aura connu que trois propriétaires dont un pendant 28 ans et sera livrée avec son sa roue de secours, son cric, son jeu d'outils, et le dossier l'accompagnant. Les exemplaires aussi soignés, en conduite à gauche, avec un historique limpide et des options intéressantes ne sont pas légion, sachez en profiter ! US title Customs cleared in the EU Chassis No LSHF211 - Left-hand drive - Known history - Interesting options The factory release document of this "silver cloud" states that it was delivered new on the 28th August 1958 in Canada to a certain F.R. MacDonald, President of a large building materials organisation bearing his actual name. In a lovely porcelain white livery and beige leather interior, it is equipped with power steering and original air conditioning, of which the latter was removed for space reasons but will still be delivered with the car. The car changed ownership in 1960 and then moved to Nebraska in 1963 to remain in the same family until 2008, when it was then purchased by an English dealer, from whom the current owner bought it. Sophisticated, the latter has since had the car repainted in its original colour, with gold nets and replacement of all seals. As for leathers, they have been dyed again and resulted in the car offering a gorgeous appearance both inside and outside. The woodwork is in good condition and the speedometer is now graduated in km/h. A test drive with its owner demonstrated its overall good working order and its smoothness, typical characteristic for this model. There are not many examples in such neat condition, in left-hand drive, with a clear history and interesting options. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
