En 1980, il a été acheté par notre collectionneur et immatriculé l'année suivante à Perugia, comme en témoigne le Libretto de cette époque. La voiture est également accompagnée de son Foglio complementare et d'une carte d'identité Fiva. Avant 1980, il est possible de connaître la chaîne des propriétaires grâce à l'extrait du registre chronologique de l'ACI. Cette voiture a bénéficié dans les années 1970 d'une restauration et fut utilisée par notre collectionneur dans les années 1980. La peinture rouge est passée et l'habitacle sportif et sobre, avec ses cadrans ronds, son volant bois et son levier de vitesses au plancher, semble complet. Cette Appia GTE (pour Gran Turismo Esportazione) fait partie des 368 berlinettes Zagato de l'Appia troisième série, produites de 1959 à 1963. Grâce à son poids d'environ 800 kg et son bon profilage, les 54 ch de son V4 lui permettent d'atteindre 150 km/h. Véritable Flaminia Super Sport à échelle réduite, cette Appia présente toute la race d'une carrosserie Zagato, alliée à la qualité Lancia. Modèle très rare, elle ne peut qu'attirer l'attention sérieuse des amateurs de berlinettes italiennes constituant une base de restauration unique. In 1980, it was purchased by our collector and registered the following year in Perugia, as evidenced by the Libretto from that time. The car also comes with its Foglio complementare and a FIVA Identity Card. Before 1980, it is possible to know the chain of owners through the chronological record of the ACI. The car received a restoration in 1970 and was used by our collector in the 1980s. Due to its light weight of about 800kg and good aerodynamics, its modest 54bhp V4 could still reach a top speed of 150 km/h. Authentic Flaminia Super Sport shape scaled down, the Appia also sported classic racing Zagato bodywork, combined with Lancia quality. A very rare model, it is worthy of a serious look by lovers of Italian sports cars, representing a unique base for restoration.
