Les Porsche 356 ont quelque chose de particulier. Bien loin des cabriolets Anglais style Triumph, les cabriolets 356 ont quelque chose de léger, d’aérien. Curieusement une Porsche 356 Roadster est assez peu connue car souvent confondue avec un cabriolet plus classique pourtant ce modèle n’a rien à voir. Tout d’abord elle présente le pare-brise avec son entourage chromé typique des cabriolets Porsche 356 « spéciaux » comme le fameux convertible D ou le Speedster. Ensuite sa ligne arrière est différente avec un recouvrement plus important du compartiment moteur vers l’intérieur qui sans recouvrir les places arrières lui donne une ligne beaucoup plus fluide. Enfin et pas le moindre détail, elle partage avec le Speedster ce fameux tableau de bord. Ce très bel exemplaire est en parfait état de présentation et de fonctionnement. Comme la plupart, elle il vient des USA et a été vendue par l’intermédiaire de Bretagne Roadster à son actuel propriétaire il y a environ 8 ans. Son intérieur et sa capote ont été refait il y a 3 ans. Elle est équipée de harnais 4 points. Sa mécanique a toujours été entretenue par Gilles Morel (Historic Automobile Racing), il s’agit d’un 1600cm3 de 90 CV.
