L’arbre à cames a été modifié et des carburateurs SU HD8 identiques à ceux de la Jaguar Type E viennent alimenter le moteur Morris. La planche de bord n’est plus en métal peint mais s’orne désormais de bois précieux. Pilotée à l’époque par les plus grands pilotes comme Carroll Shelby, Pat Moss etc … l’Austin Healey est toujours appréciée aujourd’hui par de nombreux amateurs adeptes de sa ligne intemporelle, de la puissance et du couple offert par le 6-cylindres mais aussi par l’homogénéité générale de son châssis. Notre exemplaire de 1964 est une version européenne d’origine. La carrosserie bicolore verte et blanc ne présente aucun défaut notable. L’habitacle et sa sellerie en cuir beige sont absolument magnifiques. L’actuel propriétaire possède le véhicule depuis 12 ans. Un important dossier de facture témoigne de l’entretien scrupuleux dont l’Austin Healey a bénéficié. Parmi les nombreux travaux effectués on peut citer : échappement inox, radiateur neuf, chaîne de distribution, joint de culasse, maîtrecylindre pour embrayage. The camshaft has been modified and the SU HD8 carburettors identical to those of the Jaguar Type E are powered by the Morris engine. The dashboard is no longer painted metal but is now adorned with precious wood. Piloted at the time by the biggest drivers like Carroll Shelby, Pat Moss etc ... the Austin Healey is still appreciated today by many fans of its timeless line, power and torque offered by the 6-cylinder but also by the overall homogeneity of its chassis. Our 1964 copy is an original European version. The bicoloured green and white body has no notable defects. The cockpit and its beige leather upholstery are absolutely beautiful. The current owner has owned the vehicle for 12 years. An important invoice record testifies to the scrupulous maintenance that the Austin healey has benefited.
