C'est à Touring qu'est confiée la réalisation de la carrosserie et seuls quelques 1000 exemplaires seront ainsi produits. Ainsi que l'a confirmé le département historique d'Alfa Romeo, ce GTC fut produit le 4 février 1965 et vendu neuf en France le 5 mars de la même année alors qu'il était rouge de carrosserie avec une sellerie en skaï noir. Son actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition en 2009, alors qu'elle appartenait à un médecin de l'Aisne. La voiture a bénéficié d'une peinture de teinte grise il y'a probablement plus de quinze ans et se trouve en état d'usage. Les quelques traces de corrosion, notamment au niveau du masque avant, devront être reprises afin d'éviter toute évolution. La sellerie a également bénéficié d'une réfection ancienne de belle facture, en cuir rouge, affichant aujourd'hui une très belle patine. Un essai en compagnie du propriétaire a permis de constater son bon fonctionnement mécanique, ainsi que de tous les équipements électriques, y compris l'autoradio accessoire Radiomatic. Cette rare GTC pourra soit bénéficier d'une restauration en carrosserie, soit continuer à rouler ainsi en profitant de son agréable patine. It was Touring that was given the job of developing the bodywork, and only some 1000 were ever produced. As confirmed by the historical department of Alfa Romeo, this GTC was produced on February 4, 1965 and was sold new in France on March 5 of the same year, with a red colored body and black skai upholstery. Its current owner acquired the car in 2009, when it belonged to a doctor from the Aisne region of France. The car was painted grey, in all likelihood some 15 years ago and is in a state of use. The few traces of corrosion, especially at the front, should be treated to avoid progression. The upholstery has also benefited from an older refurbishment, and the red leather displays a beautiful patina. A test drive with the owner made it possible to note that the mechanicals are functioning well, as well as all the electrical equipment, including the car radio Radiomatic. This rare GTC could be either the base for a restoration to the bodywork, or continue to be driven, thus taking full advantage of its very pleasant patina.
