Acheté par son actuel propriétaire en 2015, ce Land Rover de type 109 châssis long provient d'Angleterre, où il fut très certainement converti en conduite à gauche. Son ancien propriétaire l'avait complètement remis en état il y a désormais plus d'une dizaine d'années pour s'en servir au quotidien et pour déposer les enfants à l'école. Dans un article du magazine " Classic Land Rover " paru en 2013 dans lequel on retrouve notre exemplaire en photo, il expliquait que le regard envieux des autres enfants descendant d'un SUV moderne le remplissait de joie. Dans ce coloris " Light Green " rehaussé d'un toit blanc, cette version 4 cylindres essence est dans un état général satisfaisant. En 2020, le bloc moteur a été repeint et, cette année, quelques travaux d'amélioration ont été réalisés comme le changement de la pompe à eau, le remplacement des quatre pneus et la reprise en peinture de quelques éléments de carrosserie. Sa porte arrière donne accès à un grand un espace où deux larges banquettes se font face. Cette icone tout-terrain est devenue très prisée des collectionneurs, l'exemplaire de la collection présenté sans réserve est une belle opportunité de profiter en famille de balades hors des sentiers battus. Purchased by its current owner in 2015, this Land Rover type 109 long chassis comes from England, where it was most certainly converted to left-hand drive. Its former owner had it completely restored more than ten years ago to use it on a daily basis, and to drop the children off at school. In an article in the magazine "Classic Land Rover" published in 2013 in which our car is pictured, he explained that the envious look of other children getting out of a modern SUV filled him with joy. In this "Light Green" color enhanced by a white roof, this 4-cylinder petrol version is in generally satisfactory condition. In 2020, the engine block was repainted and, this year, some improvement work was carried out such as the change of the water pump, the replacement of the four tires and the repainting of some bodywork elements. Its rear door gives access to a large space where two large benches face each other. This all-terrain icon has become very popular with collectors, and this car is on offer without reserve - a great opportunity to enjoy rides off the beaten track with the family.
