En septembre 1970, apparait la " série D " qui marque de grand progrès dans le traitement des carrosseries contre la corrosion, avec l'usage de l'acier galvanisé et d'une protection au zinc pour les soubassements. L'exemplaire présenté fait partie de cette série, ainsi que le confirme son certificat Porsche qui date sa sortie d'usine d'octobre 1970, à destination du marché italien. Ce document confirme que sa carrosserie était de la désirable teinte " Albertblau " avec un intérieur en simili noir. Cette 2.2 T fut immatriculée en Suisse avant de rejoindre l'Angleterre en 2006. Depuis cette année-là, un important dossier de factures d'entretien et diverses remises en état a été constitué. Son actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition en 2018 et a poursuivi cet entretien pour que la voiture soit utilisable facilement. La carrosserie a été repeinte d'un élégant bleu plus clair que la teinte d'origine. Le compartiment avant, ayant visiblement fait l'objet d'une réparation ancienne, a été repeint, tout comme le réservoir d'essence. La moquette de coffre, ainsi que d'autres parties dans l'habitacle seront remplacées pour la vente. Le moteur est du bon type et de la bonne année, toujours équipé de ses carburateurs Zenith, ici coiffés de filtres à air accessoires (le filtre à air d'origine sera fourni). L'habitacle est en état d'usage et complété d'un autoradio Philips. L'état de présentation homogène de cette 911 nous a convaincus qu'elle ferait une voiture de tous les jours originale et admirée. In September 1970, the 'D series' appeared, marking a major advance in the treatment of the body against corrosion, with the use of galvanised steel and zinc protection for the underbody. The model presented here belongs to that series, as is confirmed by its Porsche certificate, indicating that it left the factory in October 1970, for supply to Italy. This confirms that it was finished in the desirable colour of 'Albertblau', with a black leatherette interior. The 2.2 T was registered in Switzerland before going to England in 2006. Since then, a substantial file of invoices for servicing and various refurbishment jobs has been built up. Its current owner acquired the car in 2018 and has continued to maintain it so that it can be easily used. The body has been resprayed an elegant shade of blue, lighter than the original. The front boot, which had evidently been repaired in the past, was repainted, as was the fuel tank. The carpet in the boot, as well as in various places inside the car, will be replaced for the sale. The engine is of the correct type and year; it is still equipped with its Zenith carburettors, which are currently fitted with accessory air filters (the original air filter will be supplied). The interior is in used condition, with a Philips radio installed. The consistent overall condition of this 911 convinced us that it would make an original and attractive car for everyday use.
