Comme la majorité des 914 il s'agit d'un véhicule d'origine américaine, mis en circulation le 1er juillet 1970. Ainsi que le confirme son certificat d'authenticité notre 914/6 est dans sa configuration couleurs d'origine avec sa peinture " signal orange " (1410) très seventies et son intérieur en simili cuir noir. Elle est de plus équipée du kit 914-6 GT avec ailes larges pour un look plus agressif. La voiture est acquise en 1986 par un résident californien auprès d'un professionnel comme en atteste la facture d'achat encore présente au dossier. Celui-ci la conserve pendant une dizaine d'années et lui prodigue un entretien régulier, factures à l'appui. C'est lui notamment qui fera remplacer le moteur, en 1990 chez Autosport Technology à Sacramento pour une facture de 10 000 $ à l'époque par un bloc reconditionné de 2,2L T américaine. Entre la fin des années 1990, et le début des années 2000, la voiture bénéficie d'une restauration totale, comme le prouve de multiples factures de pièces dans le dossier. Bien conservée depuis, cette 914/6 se trouve ainsi en très bel état général de présentation. First registered on July 1, 1970, it is, like most 914, of American origin. As confirmed by its certificate of authenticity, our 914/6 is in its original color configuration with its very seventies "orange signal" paint (1410) and black imitation leather interior. It is also equipped with the 914-6 GT kit with wide wings for a more aggressive look. The car was acquired in 1986 by a Californian from a dealer as attested by the purchase invoice still on file. The latter kept it for about ten years and provided it with regular maintenance, supported by invoices. In 1990, he has the engine replaced by a refurbished 2.2L T American block at Autosport Technology in Sacramento, for a $10,000 bill at the time. Between the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, the car underwent a total restoration, as shown by multiple invoices in the file. Well preserved since, this 914/6 is in good condition.
