Elle fut enregistrée sur l'île de Jersey jusqu'en 1975 et connu 3 propriétaires anglais entre 1975 et 1977. En 1977, un écossais s'en porte acquéreur et la modifie en groupe 4/5 avant de s'en séparer 19 ans plus tard. Le nouveau propriétaire s'en sert uniquement lors de conditions climatiques favorables, notamment pour aller en pèlerinage au Mans durant de nombreuses années. French title Chassis No THPNMD03890 - 2022 Tour Auto participant - Powerful, competitive and reliable car - A wise choice for historic racing events According to a description for a previous auction sale, this De Tomaso Pantera chassis 3890 was manufactured in July 1972 and delivered new to the UK by the official importer; it was therefore one of the rarest right-hand drive examples with the original livery. It was registered on the island of Jersey until 1975 and had 3 English owners between 1975 and 1977. A Scottish man bought it in 1977 and modified it into a Group 4/5 before parting with it 19 years later. The new owner only uses it in good weather conditions, notably to go on pilgrimage to Le Mans for many years. Converted to left-hand drive, this particular De Tomaso Pantera GTS is an excellent machine for participating in various historic racing events and has in fact just taken part in the 2022 edition of the Tour Auto race.
