1972 Matra 530 No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n° 0009959 - Etat impressionnant - Mécanique révisée - Agrément du toit 'targa' en deux parties - Sans réserve Dénommé pour évoquer le missile air-air 530 produit par la branche armement de Matra, cette petite berlinette à toit amovible en deux parties est créée par Philippe Guédon et est équipée du moteur 4 cylindres 1,7L de la Ford Taunus, en position centrale arrière. Présentée au Salon de Genève 1967, la 530 possède une très bonne tenue de route, une suspension très confortable et un excellent freinage. Destinée à une clientèle jeune, proposée trop chère, la cible la délaissera au profit de la Simca 1000 ou la R8. La voiture obtiendra un énorme coup de pub lorsqu'elle apparaîtra entre les mains de Jean Gabin dans le film 'le Pacha' de Georges Lautner. La Matra 530 de la vente est superbe et il est rare d'en croiser dans un tel état. Acquise par l'actuel propriétaire auprès d'un membre du club Matra alors qu'elle avait été entièrement refaite en Suisse, complètement désossée, traitée contre la rouille, repeinte, avec mécanique complètement révisée. Son intérieur est recouvert de cuir noir (au lieu du skaï d'origine) et se présente dans un état de fraicheur impeccable. Elle tourne très bien. Il s'agit d'une voiture agile, dont l'architecture n'est pas sans rappeler les meilleures sportives à moteur central arrière. French title Chassis No. 0009959 - In impressive condition - Serviced mechanicals - Feature of 'targa' roof in two parts - No reserve Named to evoke the 530 air-to-air missile produced by the armament branch of Matra, this small berlinette (sports coupe) with a removable roof in two parts was created by Philippe Guedon and was powered by a 1.7L 4-cylinder engine from the Ford Taunus, in the rear central position. Launched at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show, the 530 had very good roadholding, very comfortable suspension, and excellent braking. Intended for a young clientele, the car was too expensive, and so the young went in for the Simca 1000 Coupe or the R8. The car though received considerable exposure when it appeared in the hands of Jean Gabin in Georges Lautner's film 'le Pacha'. The Matra 530 on offer is in a superb state and it is rare to come across one in such a condition. Acquired by the current owner from a member of the Matra club when it had been completely redone in Switzerland, completely stripped, treated against rust, repainted, with the mechanicals completely overhauled. Its interior is upholstered in black leather (instead of the original leatherette) and is in pristine condition.
