Elle a été achetée par le présent propriétaire en 2013, alors qu'elle appartenait à un ophtalmologiste du Wisconsin. La voiture avait été repeinte en orange et, depuis, la peinture a été refaite dans le gris métallisé correspondant à se teinte d'origine par l'excellent Carrozzeria Guerra basé à Lugo. Ces dernières années, elle a connu divers travaux techniques effectués par Top Motors, en Italie. Les phares et feux ont été remplacés pour correspondre aux règles européennes, l'échappement a été rénové, de même que le circuit de freinage et le compresseur de climatisation. Cette Jarama, dont le moteur est celui d'origine, a encore fait l'objet d'une révision complète en 2017. Ce modèle GTS est intéressant car il est rare (152 exemplaires de GTS) et comporte des améliorations par rapport aux versions précédentes : modifications esthétiques, nouvelle présentation de l'intérieur, climatisation améliorée et nouvelle version du V12 quatre arbres 4 litres, développant 365 ch à 7 500 tr/mn. Elle correspond à une parfaite grande routière quatre places, moins radicale qu'une Miura et plus utilisable qu'une Espada. Elle est accompagnée d'une documentation concernant l'historique d'entretien, de son cric et de sa trousse à outils d'origine, d'un manuel d'utilisateur, de deux jeux de clés et d'un CD comportant des photos de la restauration. Grace à son état irréprochable, cette Jarama rend justice à ce modèle qui mérite d'être mieux connu. German title Chassis no. 10442 Engine no. 41006 - Original engine and colour - Superb condition - Rare, interesting model Delivered new on 2 February 1973 in New York, this Lamborghini Jarama stands out on account of its low mileage, with just 9026 miles (14,525 km) recorded, which seems to be the original one. It was bought by its current owner in 2013, when it belonged to an ophthalmologist from Wisconsin. The car had been repainted orange and since then its paintwork has been restored to a grey metallic corresponding to its original finish by Carrozzeria Guerra, Lugo. In recent years, a number of technical jobs have been carried out on the car by Top Motors in Italy. The headlamps and lights have been replaced to conform to European legislation. The exhaust has been refurbished, along with the braking system and air conditioning compressor. The Jarama, which still has its original engine, underwent a further full service in 2017. This GTS model is of interest as it is rare, with just 152 cars built, and features a number of improvements to its appearance compared with the earlier versions: a new look to the interior, improved air conditioning and a new version of the quad-cam 4-litre V12, producing 365 bhp at 7500 rpm. It is a perfect four-seat grand tourer, less radical than the Muira and easier to use than the Espada. The car comes with a documented service history, its original jack and toolkit, an owner's manual, two sets of keys and a CD showing photos of its restoration.
