En 1975, le Range Rover a déjà gagné en raffinement par rapport à la version initiale de 1970. L'instrumentation de bord est revue et l'autoradio stéréo ou la direction assistée sont proposés en option, tout comme le pare-brise feuilleté, les vitres teintées pour le soleil, les appuie-têtes avant ou les ceintures de sécurité. L'intérieur abandonne le revêtement PVC "Palomino" pour le cuir "Ambla", et la garniture de levier de vitesse n'est plus en caoutchouc mais de la même matière que les tapis. L'exemplaire présenté, immatriculé le 1er juin 1976, est exceptionnel à deux titres. En premier lieu, il a été la propriété du célèbre acteur Alain Delon, ainsi qu'en témoigne une copie de son ancien titre de circulation qui sera remis à l'acheteur. En second lieu, son actuel possesseur, important collectionneur de Range Rover, lui a fait bénéficier d'une restauration complète entre 2019 et 2020, avec dépose de la carrosserie, décapage complet du châssis et de la caisse qui a été repeinte dans sa superbe teinte Bahama Gold d'origine. Le moteur, matching numbers, a également été entièrement refait, tout comme les trains roulants et la sellerie, ainsi qu'en témoignent de nombreuses photos et factures. In 1975, Range Rover had already gained in refinement compared to the initial 1970 version. The instrumentation on board was revised and the stereo car radio and power steering were offered as options, as were the laminated windshield, the tinted windows, front headrests and seat belts. The interior abandoned the "Palomino" PVC coating for the "Ambla" leather, and the gearshift pad was no longer made of rubber but of the same material as the carpets. The car on offer, registered on 1 June 1976 is exceptional in two ways. First, it was owned by famous actor Alain Delon, as can be seen by a copy of its old registration document which will be handed over to the buyer. Secondly, its current owner, a major Range Rover collector, gave it a comprehensive restoration between 2019 and 2020, with the removal of the bodywork, stripping of the chassis and body which was repainted in its superb original color Bahama Gold. The matching numbers engine was also completely refurbished, as well as the running gear and the upholstery, as can be seen by the numerous photos and invoices.
