Acquise aux enchères par notre collectionneur en 2014, elle se trouvait en Angleterre. Selon le descriptif du catalogue de l'époque, elle fut immatriculée pour la première fois au Royaume-Uni en janvier 1984 et n'a ensuite connu que quatre propriétaires jusqu'en 2014, le dernier l'ayant conservé 12 ans. Elle est accompagnée d'un dossier historique dans lequel on peut notamment trouver différentes factures, d'anciens tests MoTs, ainsi que des échanges démontrant que le moteur et l'embrayage ont été reconstruits en 2002. Ayant bénéficié d'une restauration ancienne, sa robe blanc grand prix est en état correct même si une reprise complète de la carrosserie serait nécessaire pour obtenir un résultat au niveau des standards actuels et contrôler tous les alignements. Son moteur qui est d'origine, fonctionne et démarre sans fumée ni bruits anormaux. L'habitacle, la sellerie et le toit Targa sont en bon état de présentation. Cet exemplaire présenté sans réserve est une bonne opportunité d'accéder aux mythiques 911 de type G, il pourra aussi servir d'excellente base à celui qui voudra lui redonner sa superbe d'antan d'autant que la cote de cette génération de 911 ne fait que progresser et que cette version est assez rare. Acquired at an auction in 2014, the car was in England. According to the description in the catalog at the time, it was first registered in the United Kingdom in January 1984 and then had only four owners until 2014, the last having kept it for 12 years. It comes with a historic folder in which one can find various invoices, old MOT inspection reports, as well as exchanges showing that the engine and the clutch were rebuilt in 2002. With an old restoration, the car's white grand prix shade is in decent condition even if a complete overhaul of the bodywork would be necessary to obtain a result at the level of current standards and to control all the alignments. Its matching engine runs and starts without any smoke or abnormal noises. The passenger compartment, upholstery and Targa roof are in good condition. This car is on offer without reserve and is a good opportunity to get into the 911 type G family of cars. It can also serve as an excellent base for those who want to restore it to its former glory, especially since the rating of this generation of 911 is on the rise, and that this version is rather rare.
