Parée d’un discret Argento en accord avec un intérieur noir, cette berlinette offre une configuration rare et élégante contrastant avec le plus commun Rosso Corsa. Propriété de la même famille depuis 1990, le vendeur nous indique l’avoir restaurée en 1994 tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur et doté d’un échappement « inconel » réalisé sur mesure. In 1975, Niki Lauda won his first Formula 1 World Champion title at the wheel of the Ferrari 312 T, it was in this context and at the Paris Motor Show that the new 308 GTB was presented. The result: a two-seater berlinette, with a 3.0L V8 in the center rear position developing 255 horsepower at 7,700 rpm. Its lines born from a cross between a BB 512 and a Dino 246 GT give it a modernism specific to the 1970s but especially an aesthetic finesse of which Pininfarina alone had the secret. The Tifosi were unanimous, delighted to find the famous berlinette Ferrari and the success did not wait. In total, just under 14,000 Ferrari 308s were built in ten years, before being replaced by the 328. Especially since its introduction until today, the 308 has been brought to the rank of automotive icon by the small screen, from Magnum PI to Live & Die in LA. The 308 GTB that we propose was registered in 1980, before the switch to the K-Jetronic injection. Still fueled by 4 Weber doublebodies positioned horizontally, it represents one of the last 308 to develop 255 horses when the GTBi and Quattrovalvole later developed only 214 and 240 respectively. Decorated by a discreet Argento in agreement with a black interior, this berlinette offers a rare and elegant configuration contrasting with the most common but most screaming Rosso Corsa.
