Elle aurait été vendue neuve à un prince d'Arabie Saoudite dont le père, mécontent de cet achat, aurait fait immédiatement renvoyer la voiture chez le concessionnaire, avec tout juste 150 km au compteur! Dés 1989, le second propriétaire, britannique, en fait ensuite l'acquisition auprès du concessionnaire Ferrari et l'amène dans son garage de Vence, au sud de la France. L'utilisant uniquement pendant ses séjours sur le continent, il en a confié l'entretien au concessionnaire Ferrari Auto Palace, à Mandelieu. Le propriétaire actuel a ensuite acheté la voiture en 2010 et en serait donc le troisième propriétaire. En définitive, la voiture a peu roulé, ce qui explique le faible chiffre de 24 600 km indiqué par le compteur.
