Celle-ci reprend les codes de la 356 Speedster des années 50, avec un pare-brise rabaissé et un couvre-capote rigide à double bossage qui lui confèrent un style particulièrement racé. L'exemplaire présenté a été acheté neuf par le frère de son actuel propriétaire auprès du Garage Dizier, agent Porsche historique à Paris. D'une élégante et peu courante teinte vert forêt métallisée, agréablement contrastée par un habitacle tendu de cuir beige, ce speedster est resté dans la famille depuis l'origine. La carrosserie a été repeinte dans sa teinte d'origine, tandis que la sellerie est d'origine et bien conservée, tout comme la capote. Le compteur a été remplacé à approximativement 17 000 km, d'après ce qui nous a été rapporté, et le nouvel élément affiche aujourd'hui 34 600 km, cette voiture aurait donc parcouru un peu plus de 51 000 km depuis l'origine. Au printemps 2018, elle a bénéficié d'une importante révision et son essai nous a permis de constater un fonctionnement agréable : l'embrayage est doux et progressif, le freinage efficace et la direction ferme. Avec à peine plus de 2 000 exemplaires construits, il s'agit assurément d'un des modèles de 911 les plus rares et désirables. French title Chassis no. This reverted to the stylistic conventions of the 356 Speedster from the 1950s, with a lower windscreen and a fixed double-bossed tonneau cover, giving it a particularly elegant appearance. The example on offer was purchased new by its current owner's brother from the Garage Dizier, a famous Porsche dealer in Paris. Finished in an elegant and unusual shade of metallic Forest Green, attractively set off by its interior trimmed in beige leather, this Speedster has remained with the same family since new. The body has been resprayed in the original colour, while the upholstery is original and well preserved, as is the hood. We understand that the odometer was replaced at about 17,000km and the new unit is today showing 34,600km, so that the car is believed to have covered just over 51,000km from new. In the spring of 2018, the car underwent a major service and it proved pleasant to drive on test, with a gentle and progressive clutch, effective braking and positive steering. With scarcely more than 2000 cars built, this is unquestionably one of the rarest and most desirable models of the 911.
