Elle était basée sur la plateforme de l'Alfa 75, avec un V6 développant 210 ch, des suspensions et freins dérivées de la version Groupe A et un ensemble boîte-pont à l'arrière. La production s'est limitée à 1 036 exemplaires, plus 284 exemplaires de la version spider. Cette Alfa Romeo SZ est une des rares ayant été livrée neuve aux Pays-Bas, en 1991. D'après le registre RZ/SZ, cette voiture appartenait à la fin des années 1990 au pilote automobile H. van Putten. Le registre nous apprend aussi que, en 2009, elle était entre les mains d'un célèbre pilote hollandais et que son kilométrage atteignait 48 000 km. Ce modèle présentant un bouclier avant incisif, il n'est pas rare qu'il souffre de coups et rayures. Le dernier propriétaire, souhaitant disposer d'une voiture impeccable, a donc procédé à une réfection complète de la peinture, dans la teinte rouge d'origine. Production was limited to 1,036 examples, and 284 examples of the spider version. This Alfa Romeo SZ is one of the very rare cars to have been delivered new in Holland in 1991. According to the RZ/SZ register, this car belonged to racing driver H. van Putten at the end of the 1990s. The register states that it was in the hands of a well-known Dutch driver in 2009, and that its mileage was 48,000 km. As this model has a deep front bumper it is not unusual for it to suffer bumps and scratches. The previous owner, wanting to have an impeccable car therefore had the paintwork completely refinished in the original red colour. The interior remains in excellent original condition and complements the bodywork perfectly. Mechanically, the original engine works well and the gear change is smooth.
