Ainsi, cette modeste fourgonnette Fiat Fiorino a porté haut les couleurs de Ferrari et Maserati en participant notamment à l'assistance du célèbre Challenge qui a commencé avec la 348. Comme nous l'a confirmé J.-F Blachette, historien Maserati et ancien collaborateur des établissements Pozzi, cinq ou six Fiorino avaient été commandées en 1991 à ces fins, pour être réparties entre les distributeurs gérés par la maison Pozzi. Elles recevaient une livrée spéciale avec cheval cabré et bande tricolore. La Fiorino que nous présentons, commandée en septembre 1991 par Pozzi à Levallois comme le confirme le certificat de garantie, était destinée à la succursale de Toulouse. Son actuel propriétaire est le même que celui de la Maserati 3500 GT. Il a pu acheter cette voiture, par l'intermédiaire d'un marchand du sud-ouest, directement au fils d'un mécanicien de Pozzi Toulouse à la retraite qui l'avait lui-même récupérée auprès de l'importateur. De couleur Vermelho Monte Carlo, elle affichait encore sa belle livrée d'assistance mais, les couleurs étant un peu passées, elles ont pu être ravivées par un vernis qui en a préservé toute l'authenticité. Cette voiture a bénéficié de travaux de révision avec remplacement des amortisseurs, freins, pneus et pompe à gasoil par le mécanicien du propriétaire. Elle n'affiche que 121 870 km d'origine et se présente dans un état satisfaisant son autoradio fonctionnant à merveille. Une voiture idéale pour participer aux épreuves historiques Ferrari-Maserati ! Thus, this modest Fiat Fiorino van features the colors of Ferrari and Maserati having participated in particular in the service team for the famous Ferrari Challenge, which began with the 348. As confirmed to us by J.-F Blachette, Maserati historian and former collaborator of Pozzi workshop, five or six Fiorinos had been ordered in 1991 for these purposes, to be distributed among the dealer network managed by Pozzi. They received a special livery with the prancing horse and the tricolor band. The Fiorino that we are offering was ordered in September 1991 by Pozzi in Levallois, as confirmed by the warranty certificate, and was intended for the Toulouse branch. Its current owner is the same as that of the Maserati 3500 GT. He was able to buy this car, through a dealer in the southwest, directly from the son of a retired mechanic from Pozzi Toulouse who had collected it himself from the importer. It still displays its beautiful service livery but, the colors being a little faded, they have been revived by a varnish, preserving its authenticity. This car has benefited from some overhaul, with the replacement of the shock absorbers, brakes, tires and fuel pump, by the owner's mechanic.
