A RARE LARGE BRONZE 'BUDDHIST LION' CENSER AND COVER
Ming Dynasty
The seated animal with the head turned left facing forwards, the mouth open in a fierce expression showing the fangs, with bulging eyes beneath bushy eyebrows, the left foreleg resting on a brocade ball, the cover shaped as a seated cub facing backwards resting on the mother's back, wood stand.
