This celebrated model of wall-lights by Lucien-François Feuchère, was first delivered to the Garde-Meuble in June 1820 and described as 'quatre bras de cheminée dorés or moulu à 3 branches à trompe, forme de bouclier à 72' (..francs, therefore 288 francs for the set). Two of these wall-lights were subsequently moved in 1822 to the hôtel du ministère de la maison du Roi, while the two remaining ones went to the palais des Tuileries in 1823. The Journal du Garde-Meuble mentions in 1833 two similar ones in reserve, which are then moved to the palais des Tuileries in 1835, for the appartement du commissaire de police.
