346. 346W A fine early 19th century centre seconds table regulator Attributed to Hubert Sarton The white enamel Arabic dial with outer minute track encompassing Arabic quarters and hours, with fine blued steel moon hands and counter-balanced centre seconds hand framed by a beaded ormolu bezel set on a pair of tapering Doric columns on a moulded black marble base and toupie feet. The spring driven movement with circular plates surmounted by a bell, the strike train with distinctive pierced outside countwheel, the going train with deadbeat 'scape wheel set over a pair of inverted pallets, all mounted on the backplate.
