52. RARE JARDINIÈRE EN PORCELAINE BLEU BLANC ET ROUGE DE FER

A RARE UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND IRON-RED JARDINIÈRE
19th century
Modelled in the form of a bat, with fluted sides rising to a wide everted rim, decorated around the body with scattered bats finely painted in iron-red between blue clouds swirls, the top of the rim similarly decorated with bats in flight and clouds, the six ruyi-shaped feet highlighted in yellow enamel with iron-red details.
51.5cm (20 1/4in) wide.
