A Meissen yellow-ground Augustus Rex vase and cover, circa 1730
Each side reserved with a Chinoiserie scene surrounded by cartouches made up of indianische Blumen, a gilt border around the neck rim, the cover similarly decorated, 30.5cm AR mark in underglaze-blue and incised X (some restoration to the finial and around the base) (2)
