A WOOD NETSUKE OF A RECUMBENT BACTRIAN CAMEL

The camel recumbent with three legs folded beneath its belly, its head turned docilely to the right, resting on its long tail swishing across its flank, the tip of its tail tucked beneath its chin and forming the himotoshi, the eyes double inlaid; signed on one hind leg in ukibori characters Tadayoshi within a raised rectangular reserve. 4cm (1 9/16in) long.
