A bronze cannon with family crest on its carriage dating: mid-17th Century provenance: Holland, Heavy, bronze barrel (60.5 cm long) with rings and moulded muzzle decorated with bands of flowers in bas-relief, the one at the center with mask, cylindrical trunnions, dolphin-shaped handles, the base with family crest with three stars, arm with stick and tower, upper vent, acorn-shaped cascabel knot. Fine wooden carriage with iron mounts, hooks for the tools on one side. Two closing pins of the trunnions are missing (but still featuring the chains). Very rare. length total 97 cm.
