A field marshal uniform from the property of Emperor Franz Joseph I dating: 1899 provenance: Austria In fine pale fabric, with red collar and cuffs, with field marshal ranks embroidered in gilded thread and red profiling. Breast with eyelets for orders. Lined with white silk inside (in bad conditions with parts missing and defects), tailor's label on the collar 'A. UZER & SOHN WIEN' and with hand-inscription 'Jänner 1899'. External parts in silk and red fabric. Parade scarf in gilded thread and buckle (might have been added). A rope and button missing on the left shoulder (well visible part where they were attached). Gilded buttons with a rosette in bass-relief. height 72 cm.
