Provenance: By repute from Shigatse, purchased in Nepal, May 1971. WEISSE TARA. Tibet oder Mongolei, 19. Jh. H 23 cm. Feuervergoldete Kupferlegierung, Gesicht und Haar mit Resten ritueller Bemalung. Die siebenäugige Schutzgottheit sitzt auf einem einfachen Lotosthron, den Kopf anmutig zur Seite geneigt. Die prächtigen Ohrringe sind separat gefertigt. Sockelplatte verloren. Provenienz: Der Überlieferung nach aus Shigatse, erworben in Nepal, Mai 1971.
