A pair of German silver falcons, circa 1900 Part-gilt silver. Life-size pair of seated falcons with finely engraved and chiselled feathers. The eyes with glass inserts. Stand with fine wood structure, attached gilt chains. Stepped feet decorated with an acanthus relief and applied figures of a mouse, lizard, and frog. Each stamped "800" with crescent moon and crown. Height 48 and 44 cm. Weight 1360 and 1391 g. Condition: I -
