A platinum Art Deco Egyptian style brooch Elongated pin brooch with a buckle motif crowned by a lotus leaf. Geometrically set with 63 old-cut and transition-cut diamonds (in total ca. 2.90 ct (H/I, si), onyx cabochons, 48 calibrated natural rubies and 48 calibrated sapphires. The spectacular discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings by Harold Carter in 1922 resulted in an Egypt fashion in the "golden 1920s". H 8.5 cm. W 3 cm. Weight15.75 g.
