A tea table / Elephant Trunk table, Adolf Loos in collaboration with Max Schmidt and work master Josef Berka, manufactured by cabinetmaker Friedrich Otto Schmidt, Vienna, after 1900, mahogany construction on six legs, tiles, brass fittings and sabots, height approx. 65 cm, diameter approx. 70 cm. (MHA) Adolf Loos used this table model in several variants (six- and eight-legged models, tops of different sizes, with or without brass applications and inserts).
