Achille Laugé, 1861 – 1944 Französischer Maler des Pointilismus, stammt aus dem Kreis von Antoine Bourdelle (1861-1929) sowie Henri Martin (1835-1908). In Paris war er Schüler von Alexandre Cabanelle (1823-1889) sowie von Jean-Paul Laurents (1838-1921). Mit Aristide Maillol (1861-1944) teilte er sich ein Atelier in der Rue de Sèvres. Er nahm an der ersten Ausstellung der Société des Artistes Indépendants von 1894 mit Erfolg teil. RUELLE AU BALCON FLEURI Öl auf Leinwand. 73 x 44,5 cm. Rechts unten signiert und datiert "1924".
