An Italian portrait of St Anthony of Padua, 1st half of the 15th century Tempera on inlaid wood. The half-length portrait of the saint standing in an arcade, with a gilt nimbus, red cloak and a book. In good condition, the wooden panel fractured in the middle, with several vertical cracks on the painted background in this area. No restorations visible under ultraviolet light.
