Dieses sehr qualitätsvolle und imposante Gemälde, das kürzlich in einer Privatsammlung entdeckt wurde, ist stilistisch sehr nahe am Œuvre von Simone Pignoni. Es könnte möglicherweise aber auch von seinem besten Schüler, Francesco Botti (1640–1711), gefertigt worden sein.
