Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg, Köln 2011, S.111 mit Farbabb. 1969 bittet der Konzept- und Aktionskünstler Helmut Schweizer Blinky Palermo um eine Beteiligung an der Gestaltung eines Ausstellungsraumes in Karlsruhe für die Künstlervereinigung PUYK. Das „künstlerisches Kommunikationszentrum“ sollte eine Möglichkeit zur „Präsentation und Popularisierung“ junger deutscher Künstler bieten. Die Antwort von Blinky Palermo ist der vorliegende Entwurf einer blauen Tuchverspannung, die auf der Basis der Palermo vorgegebenen Maße des Karlsruher Ausstellungsraumes angelegt ist. Helmut Schweizer war begeistert von Palermos Konzept und sah darin eine Weiterentwicklung seiner gelben Tuchverspannung, die dieser 1969 in der Ausstellung „2 Räume, Tuchverspannung und Wandzeichnungen“, in der Galerie Ernst, Hannover, gezeigt hatte. Zu dem PUYK-Projekt äußert sich Blinky Palermo in dem vorliegenden Brief an Helmut Schweizer: „Ich finde Ihre Initiative sehr gut und würde auch gerne einen Raum wie auf der Zeichnung (od. ähnlich) machen. Leider ist mir dies jedoch in diesem Jahr aus zeitl. und finz. Gründen nicht mehr möglich. Ich wäre Ihnen aber dankbar, wenn Sie mir die Einladungen Ihrer Veranstaltungen zuschicken würden und wir vielleicht Anfang nächstes Jahr etwas realisieren könnten. In der Hoffnung weiterhin von Ihnen zu hören“. Da sich die PUYK-Gruppierung im selben Jahr auflöste, wurde das Projekt nicht realisiert. In 1969, the concept and action artist Helmut Schweizer asked Blinky Palermo to take part in the design of an exhibition space for the artists' association PUYK in Karlsruhe. The ''artistic communication centre'' would offer an opportunity for the ''presentation and popularisation'' of young German artists. Blinky Palermo's answer took the form of the present design of a blue stretched cloth, laid on a large rectangular base. Helmut Schweizer was thrilled by Palermo's concept and saw in it the further development of his yellow stretched cloth which had been part of the 1969 exhibition ''2 Räume (Tuchverspannung und Wandzeichnungen) mit Gerhard Richter'' in the Gallery Ernst in Hannover. In reaction to the PUYK project, Blinky Palermo commented in this letter to Helmut Schweizer: ''I think the initiative is good and would like also very much to make a space like that on the drawing (or similar). Unfortunately, however, for time and financial reasons, it is no longer possible for me this year. I would however be grateful if you could send me the invitations of your events and maybe we could do something early next year. Hoping to hear from you.'' As the PUYK group dissolved in that same year, the project was not realised.
