This is a model, which was built before the granting approval to manufacturer ALPINA and therefore the latter is a monument of the time of ALPINA. The conversion was a friendly turn which the ALPINA-founder, Mr. Bovensiepen, made for a close friend. The vehicle is since its first delivery till this day in first hand. Until recently the car stands over 15 years and should be restored in order to obtain this unique piece. The base plate is rusted through, however the body is in good condition and the interior is almost in mint condition. The car was demonstrably built only once and has a complete documentation including a new car invoice and reconstruction documentation. ALPINA On the first January 1965 the Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen KG was founded in Kaufbeuren. The company has eight employees. Over time the name ALPINA gain in important in profile. A unique, newly created company logo is trademark and quality seal at the same time. ALPINA engages in touring car racing - an unprecedented success story begins. The pilot Derek Bell, Harald Ertl, James Hunt, Jacky Ickx, Niki Lauda, Brian Muir and Hans Stuck are between 1968 and 1973 on the payroll of ALPINA. 1970 ALPINA won the European touring car cup, the long distance classic ‘24-Stunden von Spa-Francorchamps‘ and all German championships: criterium, mountain and rally championships. 1983 ALPINA is officially registered as automakers by the Federal Motor Transport Authority in Flensburg. This car is insured through Auctionata AG and its insurance partner BELMOT for up to six weeks after the auction with a convenient all risks insurance that covers cases such as engine and/or transmission failure or accidental damages. This specific insurance cover is valid for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and may be continued by the buyer after the insurance period has expired at special conditions. The BELMOT all risks insurance excludes: a) indirect and direct damages due to the normal aging process (especially rust, corrosion, oxidation) or natural wear and tear, i. e. due to a natural wear during the drive mode, on car parts which have to be replaced repeatedly during the lifetime of the vehicle; b) indirect and direct damages based on thermal problems, especially due to high temperatures, insufficient cooling while driving or overheating. The vehicle has to be paid and collected within 3 business days after the auction. The collection may be made via collection by the costumer or via collection by a transport company. A timely collection can also made via a commissioning of Auctionata to a fee-based transport (flat shipping rate). If the time period lapses without a result, the buyer has to pay storage costs in the amount of 25, - € per day.
