BRACKET CLOCK, Régence, the dial and movement signed JOHN BUSHMAN LONDON (active circa 1700), the case probably Augsburg, circa 1710. Ebony, brass, horn and pewter, engraved and finely inlaid with red tortoiseshell. Decorated with angels, flowers, leaves and frieze. The case with pierced pagoda shaped cornice and freestanding columns. Silver-plated bronze chapter ring with minutes, hours, date and alarm. Finely engraved verge escapement with fusee and gut cord for ½ hour striking on 6 bells. Trip repeat. Short back pendulum. Requires restoration. 38x26x63 cm. Provenance: private collection, Zurich.
