Buddha Shakyamuni. Bronze, feuervergoldet. Ming-Zeit Im Meditationssitz (padmasana), die rechte Hand in bhumisparsha mudra, die Linke ist in mudra über den Füßen gehalten. Spitze Buckellocken überziehen den Kopf und sparen ein großes urna vor dem ushnisha aus. In Gravur auf der Brust ein kleines graviertes Swastika, auf den Fußsohlen das Rad der Lehre und an den Gewandbordüren Blüten und Ranken. Holzsockel in der Art eines doppelten Lotos. The head and ushnisha are covered by spiky locks of hair, on the chest a swastika, at the soles of the feet the Buddhist wheel of the law and at the garment borders flowers and scrolls in engraving.
