Cabinet Viennois vers 1860 de style renaissance agrémenté de nombreuses plaques en émaux peints de sujets néo-classiques. (A restaurer) Le modèle est exceptionnellement garni et offre un riche contraste entre les tons pastel des émaux et le bois noirci. Des rosaces et ornementations de bronze émaillé dans le goût du XVIème siècle ponctuent l'ouvrage. Ce meuble provient d'un château de provine en Wallonie. L'histoire familiale nous apprend que la propriété était occupée par l'armée allemande durant la seconde guerre mondiale. Un soldat aurait de colère endommagé volontairement les plaques d'ornementation avec sa baïonnette. On dénombre au total 108 plaques, 76 sont à restaurer. (To restore) The model is exceptionally trimmed and offers a rich contrast between the pastel tones of the enamels and the blackened wood. Rosettes and enamelled bronze ornamentations in the style of the 16th century punctuate the work. This piece of furniture comes from a Provine castle in Wallonia. Family history tells us that the property was occupied by the German army during World War II. A soldier is said to have intentionally damaged the ornamentation plates with his bayonet in anger.
