Carved, gilded, and polychromed wooden altar front. Colonial School. Peru. 17th century. 70 x 180 cm. In the centre, within a lowered circle section, is Our Lady of the Apocalypse surrounded by carnations. The entire surface of the altar is covered with carved elements, such as Solomonic columns, large vases with flowers, and foliage.
