Casque modèle 1916 à bandeau fer 1917, coque marquée du fabricant G. pour Gebrüder Gnüchtel A.G., Lauter i./Sa., taille 62, seule taille faite par ce fabricant. Bandeau fer, rivets montés d'origine, jamais démontés. Coiffe composée de 3 panneaux de cuir marron à dents de loups. Une a son extrémité manquante, 2 autres présentent des réparations postérieures. L'une est manuscrite au nom de Zelosko. 2 des coussinets de crin sont présents. Sous la visière, inscription manuscrite 2K pour 2e compagnie. Sous la nuquière, tampon à l'encre de magasinage 62 AK. La coque possède un superbe camouflage atypique, composé de taches floues ocre, rouge brique et vert foncé, laissant apparaitre la couleur feldgrau d'origine comme composante du camouflage. Légères traces d'oxydation superficielle mais très bel état. Steel liner band, original rivets never removed. Liner of three brown leather pads with “wolf tooth” tongues, one missing tip, two with later repairs. One pad handwritten “Zelosko.” Two horsehair cushions present. Under the brim, handwritten “2K” for 2nd Company. Rear visor with ink depot mark “62 AK.” Unusual camouflage with blurred ochre, brick-red, and dark green patches, the original field-grey base integrated into the pattern. Minor surface oxidation, excellent condition.
